The next APTA show in Melbourne has a change of venue from the traditional Malvern Town hall to Box Hill Lower Town Hall. (Map Reference : Melway 47, E9.)

Dates are Saturday 10th - Sunday 11th November 2012, with opening hours from 10.00am to 5.00pm on both days.
Parking : Plenty of parking space in close proximity along Whitehorse Rd and side streets, as well as at the back of the venue along Bank St. There is also private parking under the Box Hill Shopping Complex.
Public Transport : The venue is just a few minutes away from the Box Hill Shopping Centre. The Box Hill Railway Station is located at the Shopping Centre and there is also a Bus Terminus at the top of the Centre (Lines 202, 270-1, 279, 281, 284, 286, 293, 295, 302, 315, 612, 732-3, 735, 765-7, 903). Also, there is a Tram Terminus (42 & 109) just outside the Centre along Whitehorse Road.
Admission : Just $5 for adults and FREE for accompanied children.
Catering : Catering services will be available inside the venue.
Disability Services : Venue Access (via lift) and Toilet Amenities for disabled visitors is provided.

The November APTA show was at Box Hill last year too. It is the July APTA show which is at Malvern.
I'll be going along. Even if I don't buy anything I still enjoy the "eye candy"

You're absolutely right MoR, however I think this may actually be a more permanent move away from Malvern. Apparently the lighting is much better at Box Hill, all the better to enjoy the "eye candy" :sun_bespectacled:

Yeah I was surprised by that too. Maybe they wanted to avoid clashing with the ANDA show like they did last year.
I understood that the Malvern Town Hall went under a big maintenance session, that is why the location was changed.

No they haven't changed the venue.
There are two Melbourne APTA shows a year. In both 2011 and 2012 they had a July APTA at the Malvern Town Hall and a November APTA at the Box Hill Town Hall.
This year it seems they are having the Malvern Town Hall one in February perhaps to avoid the clash with the Melbourne ANDA which is in July too.
