Here at the ACF we have an awesome forum. It's new, informative and has many members. The only thing it doesn't have is MEMBER ACTIVTY. Their is a couple dozen out of over 1000 registered members.

I need each and every member who reads this to PLEASE reach out and actually contact a member that you know that isn't active and invite them back. I know each of you who are active can tell me at least 10 people you haven't seen here for a while that you would enjoy being here. Their are some you can call, email or send a personal text messages and that alone that could really make an awesome change in the forum activity.

I've sent mail at both sites and this is about all I can do from this side of the world but, you can make a big difference. I'm going to post the same message at the KOTCT forum. If any site needs visitors, that site really does.

A little encouragement can go a long way at both sites. Many of you here can recall a huge presence at both sites and this is what I'm shooting for.

Please make any effort you can. I'm counting on you!

Yes... they're called mailmen and work for the United States Postal Service. They earn about $30.00 USD an hour to do it.

My wife sends one letter a month and at Christmas about 25. Thats 37 post a year and amounts to $25.00 USD annually. As far a junk mail goes, I don't know how those commercial mailer can afford it. I could cover every wall inside and out with all of it.

Good to hear from you mate! It's been a long time. Too long actually. Sir Krash at the Castle has done some amazing things there too. I think back to the original forum and how antiquated it looked like in comparison to how it looks now and I'm amazed.

This site here got a much needed 10+ year overhaul. All the lines are cleaner and colors are brighter and yet the guts (the data) is still in tact.

You need to take a look at the gallery too. It received a much needed facelift and you don't need to squint to read the text.

I want to stress a point here to everyone who reads this. If it weren't For Krash neither site would likely have existed in 6 months. I was having serious issues with GoDaddy and the Castle was down, big time. He gave me solid hosting suggestions and I listened. From there KOTCT was given new life and the same happened to the Australian coins Forum. It's amazing what can be done when someone who actually knows what they're doing is making it happen!

Come visit the Castle and bring your friends. New members from here can request changes for threads and use all the bells and whistles it has. It will be 20 years old in about 13 months.

I just wanted to inform everyone who had "UPLOADED their AVATARS" that they are no longer missing. As Krash had stated the avatars for some reason did not transfer and he gave everyone instructions to replace them shown above. But, as of 03:00am this morning they have been re-uploaded into each of you who had one.

Now, those who chose to add an avatar via a URL LINK will need to re-establish that link yourself. The software does not store off-site links like those.

I would like to encourage everyone to use the upload feature when adding an avatar. It's the only way it is kept safe and is done so with every backup. All for now.

The rest sounds like a plan. I was on the MYBB site and their community is definitely not moderated. I ask a question and it gives numerous results that are not even relevant to the question. SMF definitely has their ducks in a row.

From what I can figure out, the entire forum format is based off several HTML files controlled by a vast array of css style sheets. Very difficult to figure out and configure.

Everything you said in the quote is true! The part about the links is already completed. I've put a welcome banner up on every page to greet everyone from down under. We have never streamed ads. We could have but the site was never about being commercialized like the Coin Community. We did at one time have a thread that allowed members to post links to other coin sites. When the upgrade was complete that thread went away. There were only 3 posts with the most recent being 14 years old.

And by the way what is the opinion of the fresh coat of paint and the closets being organized here? Sir Krash has been busy and not one thing has been discarded. Except of course the WIKI link in the header that led nowhere. I hope it's to everyone's liking. Everyone and everything needs to get dressed up every now and again.

One more thing that I did was give credit for this site where it was due. Unless they change them, Mark and his wife's signatures reflect on every post they have ever made, that they are the Founder and Co-Founder's of this website.

Yes,same sentiments from myself and Brother who pops in every so often.

Only change/suggestion i would add is for public to view all posts,pick up new members when they see something/topic they're interested in.

I'll talk to Krash and see if he thinks this would draw in too may spiders and web crawlers. athey can pose a real issue if we get too many. AI bots are non-stop nowadays.
