2 Melbourne ANDA Coin Shows for 2013??

The regular Melbourne ANDA show is on in July but there's also this:
Melbourne International Coin and Banknote Show
Dates: 18th, 19th and 20th October 2013
venue:  Etihad Stadium, Melbourne.
Wonder what the difference will be?

Here we go again another round of A,B,C,M,P,S,H and D mintmarks to get on a whole range of dollar coins again.

2010 and 2011 years of coinage and rams head coins had 8 mintmarks.
I am not sure but I think the Wheat sheaf had all 8 as well plus the bluebell.
I only have the C,S,B and M also the bluebell coins

Privy marks (square with letter) C,S,B,M & H,A,D,P
Counterstamp (incused circle with letter) P,B,M,S,A
Mint mark (raised letter) C for Canberra Mint

Not to mention there was a Silver and gold coin too.
I thought I had put pictures up, but apparently not.

Also did the 2012 coins! There are new mintage's that I might have to update.

And god forbid I do 2013, AHHHH

The 4 coin set would be the privymark set. The counterstamps are the one's they do on the portable press at the shows.

There is still hope but it's slim.

A central circle enclosing a circle of raised beads, a representation of a crown and the inscriptions ‘NEW SOUTH WALES’ and ‘1813’. Above the crown and to the left is the letter ‘A’ enclosed by a circle. This letter denotes Adelaide. In the background there is a representation of a ribbon spiralling two pillars, a crown and a shield, all partially covered by the central circle. The design includes a circle of raised beads, immediately inside the outer rim of the coin and a representation of a festoon on the edge of the central circle. The design also includes the inscriptions ‘. HISPAN . ET IND . REX .’, ‘.8R.T.H.’ and a circle directly above the letter ‘M’.

Consistent with all Australian legal tender coinage, an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will appear on the obverse side of the coin together with the inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘AUSTRALIA 2013’, ‘. 1 DOLLAR .’ and the initials of the designer Ian Rank-Broadley ‘IRB’. The obverse design includes raised beads inside the rim of the coin.

There is a short article on it in the latest CAB magazine on this International coin fair. They say that a number of overseas mints have expressed interest and they are hoping that overseas dealers might attend too. So i guess it will have more of an international feel than the ANDA show.

I'm looking forward to it already :swoon:
