Our money is getting like that, $50 is not even a valuable note like that anymore, even a $2 coin has little interest here as it won't even buy a can of drink or a meat pie.

I think the solution is reform the coins and notes, Australia is still using coin designs from 1966. A 5 cent coin today has no practical use at all, 5c in 1966 was close to $2 today. Same with NZ.

New system should be coins of 25c, $1, $5 and notes of $10, $25, $100, $250, $500 and $1,000 and later on a $5,000. Such high values would restore faith in the cash system.
