Opinions on grading please

Hello there. Just wanted to see what others thought this $1/10c mule might grade. I got it about a year back noodling. Also, I've got a 1934 half-penny that I got at a local coin shop and I'm really clueless about grades etc. So opinions will help place my feet in the right direction with some benchmarks to look at. Thanks in advance and apologies if some images are less than ideal as I've reduced the number of pixels to fit into 1mb. 

Year 2000 $1/10c Mule:







1934 Half Penny:

Bit hard to grade with the pics, may be post some high resolution pics. Based on what I can see, I would say the $1 is XF45 to AU 50 or so and the penny MS 62BN ... That's a guess at best ..

I'd say about AU50 for the mule and maybe up to AU53 for the halfpenny.The photos are a bit too soft
to nail it down

Thank you ausproofs and stevo! I'll try to get sharper pictures ASAP. It is quite hard to work with the 1mb allowance. Maybe I will try an external link.

Here are higher resolution versions of the penny. That's the best I can go with 1mb.

Okay, that is better ! AU58 to MS60 for the HP.

I suspect that 1/2D has been cleaned, need to see in hand to be sure but if it hasn't been it looks around AU53.
