The Cremation Service for Bruce James Mansfield will be held at Fawkner Memorial Park, Joyce Chapel on Friday 28th July @ 1.30pm
In Lieu of flowers the family request a donation in Bruce's name to: Leukaemia Foundation or Legacy.
There will be a live stream link available at vereyfuneraldirectors.com.au

Well mum joined Bruce this afternoon. Just one day short of her great granddaughter's second birthday. At least it will a date easy to remember.

Thanks all. It has been a while coming so it was no surprise. Never good when you lose your mother because you are next.
Tony Bennett went on the same day. Would have been more appropriate if it was Perry Como because mum was really into Perry these last few months but he has been gone a while.

Sad about Bruce, my best wishes for his family.
As a collector he was the ultimate completest if there was a set he had to have them all if he could get the same number WOW that was his nirvana.
I don't think there is anyone who had more mules that Bruce, he told me of the 1,000's of dollars he noodled at the casino & how the staff were on the lookout for him as well.
I swapped numerous coins with him in the early days, would get him coins from Sydney shows or the Royal Easter show, he had a thing about packaging & had to have at least two of every kind of packaging if there were different colours of the same thing he had to have them.
I sort of likened him to Scrooge McDuck where he had a whole room chock a block full of coins & no room foe anything else.
Bruce will be missed.

I appreciated that post too Interest.
Which leads me to an important question. Which (one) of his lucky kids gets his collection? Hopefully they are into collecting as well. It would be awful if no one was interested. I'm thinking I need to train my grandkids but I am worried that they won't really understand money. Their parents already rarely pay for anything by cash. (where did I go wrong?).
