Wedgewood coins and Circulated coins
#1

I am new here, just starting to collate my amassed coins.  I need to ask about these coins that never see circulation.  Are they collectible or is it a pointless endeavour like Wedgewood pottery?  Wedgewood was very collectible but now is worth nothing.  Can someone please explain why something that has not been circulated be valuable?

It depends - in my opinion the closer it is to something circulating the more it will be worth i.e. a commemorative 20c piece will probably be more sought after than a commemorative $10 coin.

A lot of them are ready-made collectibles though.
