$85 issue price these Parlaiment House triangle shaped coin look like they're fetching big bucks on the secondary market after selling out at the Mint.

Being a weird shape this is NOT for me.
However the 20 cent version is a whole different proposition.
Are the 20 cent coins still available at the mint?

We've had my father visiting for a week and without any consultation from me he said he bought one of these. You'd think he'd consult first with an "expert" but I would have suggested he not buy it considering the bad investment on the 1988 Parliament House $5 coin!! My guess is there was a lot of interest in this triangle coin due to all the media and publicity.

just spoke to mint and they sold out ages ago but the lady was kind enough to put me in the cancellation list ... fat chance some one will cancel due to the resale $$$
