I guess a lot of people will be trawling South African used car markets now although its still not a genuine Falcon GT..

Put a set of Bathurst mags on one and it is, for all intents and purposes a Falcon GT.
Nicely restored ones sell in South Africa for around the equivalent of $50,000 to $60,000. Much cheaper than the Aussie GT.
And the Fairmont GT does pop up on Australian auctions occasionally so someone has been shipping them here.
