I'm with you Steve! Totally agree! E38's and E49's were excellent. (Was doing up a VH to E49 specs back in the 80's until life got in the road). A good mate had an E48, which was the last of them that Chrysler made (52 made in VJ series..... Dana diff ...... awesome ..... brute rocket). Great Meme Jeff!!!!!

Yes,i bought and sold a couple of these back in the 1970's,i forget what the models were but they both had the triple Webers.
Easy to sell like the Prince Skylines,never had them for more than a couple of weeks.

Me too Jeff!!!!! I could have bought my mates one for $2200 back in the day. (He'd just spent a sh!t load on getting a new short motor, webers fully rebuilt, we'd done a full matching respray, proper codes etc. I had the rods and pistons etc and could have easily had the block at the time). It was mint, I've got a feeling it was the first of the 52. From memory, the engine number was E38D360000001. I hate to think what I could have had. But, at least I have the memory.
